Sami has been published in the State Bar of Texas’ Paralegal Division’s journal and in Houston Metropolitan Paralegal Association’s journal The Burden of Proof. Additionally, she has published articles online for the Institute of Paralegal Education and maintains her own popular legal blog called legallyblog at https://samihartsfield.wordpress.com/. She most recently published an article in the National Paralegal Reporter on the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).
She earned her Certified Paralegal designation from the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) in 2007, and went on to earn six specialty certifications in: Discovery; Trial Practice; Contracts Management; Social Security Disability Law; Individual Medical Liability and Entity Medical Liability.
Sami has worked in real estate, medical malpractice, insurance defense, general civil litigation, and is currently senior paralegal at a consumer law firm in Houston, Texas, specializing mostly in defending consumer debt cases and debt settlement.
